Does that even make sense, cause thats how I felt about these two adorable little munchkins who belong to a friend of the family, so mouth waterly edible, with their big eyes and soft skin, I would of been happy to take them home with me, but alas, I have two of my own who at present are causing me enough grief so I decided I was ok with borrowing them, then being able to give them back...

Yep, it happened, I got it from my 5 year old the other day, that question I thought wouldn't come for another year or two yet, but my beautiful boy decided he wanted to know now. I wasn't sure how to explain it to him, so I took him to the local library, grabbed a book and we sat down and read it together, while we didn't go into specifics, he now has the general idea that mummies have a special body part inside them where babies turn from eggs into babies. I don't think he is to fussed about how they come out, cause he knows I had a c-section with Channy, so I guess he just thinks thats how all babies come out, I might leave it a while before I explain to him thats not the only way that babies come out. *sigh* My little man is growing up.

And todays prompt is dairy, not a very good pic today I'm afraid, I was in a bit of a hurry.

So, I was able to get a 50mm 1.8 for my camera and I've been playing with it getting to know its abilities and limits... Considering I have only worked with Kit lenses in the past, its like having a whole new camera.. I love it, though the fact that I now have to step forward or back instead of 'zooming' I'm still getting used to lol

Anyway, I took a couple of pics of the neighbours kids yesterday (with mums consent of course) and I really did fall in love it, have a look at the pics and compare them to previous photos I have taken, and you will see why..

Its been a while... I went to Mackay to see Lou and her family. The plane there scared me with the turbulance, but the way back was fantastic, I may even do it again, one day, maybe. lol. Its so quiet up there, I couldn't get over it. I took some piccies of them as a family, and some little ones of baby cooper. He is so adorable... ON with the photos.

I want to say thanks to Lou, Macca and everyone for putting up with me for those few days.. I had a great time, and hope to see you guys again soon..

OMG, I got to take piccies of the most adorable little man on Thursday, I was thrilled. His mum is the daughter of a lady that works with my DH, and she is so friendly, I felt comfortable from the moment I walked into the house, which is always a great start. This little man was the most perfect photo model, he didn't complain to much, and both his mum and he was extremely photogenic. You tend to forget how tiny they really are when they are born, once they start growing.

I got to go on the outing this month (yay).. Wasn't feeling very creative on the day, but its amazing how you can take a fairly crap photo on photoshop and fix it so it looks pretty cool.

Things arn't really that exciting around here lately, the kids have been sick, everyone one works so its been fairly boring.

Unfortunately I didn't get to go out with the group this month, mum rung up the day before and said she wasn't feeling to good after getting her monthly needles so she didn't think she would be able to look after the kids... Ah well, there is always next month..

I have been taking photos with a few of the lovely ladies from Maternal and their families, gotta say a big shout out to them, Its much appreciated, and I hope they like the end results.

A photo outing

I recently went out with a few other girls, to an old cemetary in Fairfield. Some of the headstones really made me sad, but others it was nice to see had been looked after and the people remembered. I think our next outing is on the 14th.

I love having Kids, they make special events so much more enjoyable, the way their little faces light up, when they see unexpected presents, and the cuddles they give all the family when they see them. This is the first time I have had easter in our new house, and I loved every minute of it (besides cleaning up after it :) ). Josh left a carrot and cup of water out for the easter bunny on the back porch the night before and totally forgot about it till I got up the next morning... He went outside to check it and lo and behold, the next thing I heard was "MUM, the easter bunny stole my cup" lol, It was hard keeping a straight face while telling Josh that maybe the easter bunny brought it inside cause it was cold that night. So we went in search of the cup, first the lounge/dining/kitchen/bathrooms/bedroom and finally in Josh's room. He found his eggs and a book, with the empty cup and a half eaten carrot. His face was full of amazement, joy and surprise. It was wonderful...

People started showing up at about 12 and lunch was started, just a simple one this year, BBQ, lasagne, salads, and some desserts. The kids had a ball, running around together, and having fun, playing imaginary games and trying to sneak whatever chocolate they could. lol. They were spoilt rotton, (its been almost 2 weeks and we still have a load of chocolate left). The last finally went home about 8, and the kids had a shower, then fell asleep pretty instantanously. It had been a long day for them.. The next day we had Hot cross buns for breakfast then went for a drive and had leftover picnic for lunch... What is it they say, the best things in life are 'free'.

Hello, been a while again, don't know why, but I am so busy lately, its frustrating, I just don't seem to have the time to do what I want anymore. I'm having a few problems with Josh and his behaviour lately and I can't seem to keep up with the housework, no matter what I do, but I will get there eventually...

I looked through my paper scrapbooking albums this morning and felt all nostalgic, you can sort of see it getting better with each layout, strange huh. lol.

Sorry about not updating before now, its been so busy here, with the move, then unpacking and then I lost my password cause I'm a goose.

Everything has gone perfectly with the house, Its great, and I love it, I especially love the idea of being able to make changes to the house and not having to ask anyone's permission to do it. I love the freedom, and the house already feels comfortable. Josh has started school, and is going ok, he has had a few hiccups, but nothing we can't work through. Channy is growing fast, she seems to be changing everyday. Russ is busy at work, but we spend quality time together when we can...
I will bugger off for now, but i will be back soon, for now I will leave you a layout to catch up with :D (credit, wildflower kit - Digital scrapbook place.)

I hope you all had a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR..... I haven't been on for a while, simply because I have been staying with the inlaws and I feel a bit rude spending a load of time online ignoring them, so I do what I need during the day when they are all at work and I am at home with the children (when they arn't driving me up the wall anyway).

Hope you all had a great break over the christmas/new year period and are ready to start a fresh new year with me, I will try to get more freebies going, but again, don't like being on the pc at the inlaws cause I feel rude, but there is only 13 days till we get the keys for our new home. I'm so excited I could almost pee my pants lol.

anyway, will catch up later, just wanted to let you all know that I am still here alive and well.

We have almost finished moving now, (whew) we are staying with the inlaws for 5 weeks, until the end of settlement (the owners asked for longer, so they weren't uprooted during christmas/new year, and we were going to be staying here anyway, so we didn't mind. Anyhoo, All that is left to do is some of the cleaning and the backyard, then we are free of that crap hole, don't get me wrong, it was a great house, and it was definately nice enough, but it was falling apart and the owner refused to fix it, the side fence is only standing cause it is leaning on the neighbours clothes line, and the cracks in the roof are just getting bigger and bigger, so yeah, for my peace of mind, i am glad to be out of there.

Anyhoo, have to go, just wanted to let you know I'm still alive and kicking, will try to show you some more scrapbooking stuff that I have done, later.

WE FOUND OUR NEW HOME :D

Yesterday we finished negotiation and signed the paperwork, and assuming we have no problems with all the paperwork and what not, then we should get the keys on the 18th of January, and we are so excited. I'm looking forward to not moving house again for a while (at least 5-10 years) and not having to ask permission to put up a picture hook. The yard is HUGE, and there is a room downstairs that we can use as a toy room, so no more messy loungeroom. The kitchen is fairly new, and the rooms are all white, so it will be easy to paint if we so wish, we might paint the kids rooms later down the track. The house is also on a cul-de-sac so that is one less thing i have to worry about as well. We are going to put a deposit on it today, and start everything off (Get the solicitor going, find someone to do the Building and pest, organise the house insurance etc etc etc...)
On that note, I'm off, gotta get dressed and try not to leave the earth cause my feet are floating on air hehehe.

Not much is happening lately, we have been looking at a few houses, but so far there isn't really anything that has caught our eyes, but we have appointments for 9 houses this weekend, so all doesn't look bleak. I'm still packing, we have decided to start moving stuff into the inlaws now, that way we don't have to do it all at once, we have until the 14th but time seems to be flying by so fast, i hope its done in time.
My birthday is next wednesday night, we are going to the dockside comedy bar for a night out, I can't wait, i love that place, i always come home with sore sides and cheeks from laughing so much. I haven't done much scrapping lately, pretty much cause I have been to busy packing, but i will do more, eventually anyway.

A new day, a new post, not much has happened since I last posted, I did finally finish the layout for a challenge on www.digitalscrapbookplace.com I will post it, so you can all see, if your interested..... Today was spent mainly packing, I hate packing, that and cleaning, drives me insane, cause no matter how much you do there always seems to be more to do. The Kitchen is almost done, same Josh's room, however Chantelle's room, the spare room, and Russ and my room is going to stress me out, cause they are the main rooms with the most bits and pieces in it. I'm still waiting for the fairies to come and do it all while I'm asleep, but they haven't shown up yet, so until they do I guess I just have to keep plodding along...

Hello Hello Hello, Welcome to my world....

This is my first attempt at a blog, so bear with me, while I get my bearings.

I have started this blog simply because i wanted somewhere to share my life and my scrapping thingies. On the left is my most recent digital layout...

We just got some fantastic news, we have been approved for a homeloan, so we can now go out and start officially looking for our first own home, its so exciting, I'm thrilled....
